What we are looking for:

Experience monitoring regulatory agencies and publications.
Ensure product label requests are processed and delivered to clients in a timely fashion.

Create overall regulatory strategy and implement plans for GRAS, CFIA, and Health Canada applications

Work with Quality team and the company’s SOP, GMP, HACCP, regulatory and quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance

Continual assessment of existing compliance management systems
Auditing of personnel, infrastructure, process, performance management and regulatory compliance.

Experience and qualifications we are looking for:

Bachelor’s Degree in Food or Nutrition Science, or a related subject
Strong knowledge of methodologies of regulatory affairs in the food and nutraceutical industries
Working knowledge of regulatory processes in the USA, Canada, and EU
Significant experience in regulatory affairs working with GRAS, CFIA, and Health Canada approval processes
Experience with non-GMO, organic, kosher and halal certifications is a strong asset
