Fever-Tree Cucumber Tonic is flavoured with a natural cucumber essence, extracted through a low-temperature distillation process from General Lee cucumbers to capture the cucumber essence.
The brand says that the essence blends perfectly with the “gentle bitterness” of the tonic water, and that the drink is a perfect accompaniment to floral gins when served with a cucumber ribbon.
The drink joins the brand’s Refreshingly Light range, which Fever-Tree introduced in March, and the release of the limited-edition flavour was inspired by the success of the brand’s first limited edition drink, Clementine and Cinnamon tonic water.
Fever-Tree innovation director, Rose Black said: “Cucumber is a quintessentially English flavour which has a strong association with summer drinking.
“By using pure cucumber essence distilled directly from the cucumber, we have created a great tasting, refreshing tonic that is the perfect drink to be enjoyed during the summer months.”
Since I started working with Jaimie Meisner, early 2017, she has been very knowledgeable, proactive, and a pleasure to deal with. She is very responsive to our needs, and changing parameters. If she is out of the office, there is a ready back up or she makes time to respond directly. She did a very good job assessing our culture and understanding our environment before she searched for candidates. To date, she has helped us fill the following roles:
Manager, Food Safety & QA (US and Canada)
Plant Supervisor (US)
Director, Product Development (Canada)
Maintenance Mechanic (US)
Regional Sales Manager (US)
As well as 2 other senior roles that we put on hold (General Manager, North America; Director, Procurement).
It has been a successful partnership to date, and I expect/hope to have Jamie as my go to recruiter for many years to come.
