Job Role

Working within cross-functional team of sales channel-focused individuals to deliver business projects OTIF and to collaborate with rest of business to ensure the full alignment, to simplify the efficient and effective achievement of company objectives

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be need to have experience in the key areas below:

Main Job Function:

  • You will be launching exciting new products by working closely with Buying, Technical and Sales teams
  • Provide progress reports by managing the various projects progression
  • Manage expectations and risk by highlighting and escalating issues as necessary to avoid delays
  • Organisational skills are imperative as you will need to collaborate with the broader team (and internal customers) to assess and prioritise activity - ensure lower potential projects are quickly identified and cancelled if required
  • Help manage internal and external requirements and challenges, by ensuring fast, efficient and effective resolution through clear communication

Resource Management:

  • Update and share relevant and timely information across the business as appropriate

People Management:

  • Coordinate and manage cross-functional projects, liaising with and requesting resource from other teams where appropriate
  • Build and maintain strong relationships both internally and with key contacts externally
  • Self-development in line with departmental and company objectives
  • NO DIRECT LINE REPORTS

Personal Profile

Essentials:

  • Knowledge of the UK food industry
  • Experience of multi-tasking and working under pressure against tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to influence effectively at all levels, both internally and externally
  • Educated to degree level or above
  • Numerate and literate, with intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to learn and adopt new processes and systems

Desirable:

  • Working knowledge of international supply practices / constraints etc
  • Previous experience in a food-related with an international supply base
  • Project management experience, with a track record of successful project execution against tight deadlines
  • Recognised Procurement, Supply Chain and / or Project Management qualifications

Salary

£30k - £33k per annum

Hours

40 hours per week - Monday to Friday
